Why should you be on the Internet?
The Internet is a place for you to tell people about your business. Customers across the street and around the world can find out what you have to offer 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For less than the cost of a small Yellow Pages or newspaper ad, you can have a permanent online color brochure containing the information you want people to know about you.

Who uses the Internet, anyway?
In December 1999, Harris Polls reported that 115 million people in the United States and 56% of the US adult population had internet access. Compare that to a joint survey compiled by Commerce Net and Nielsen Media Research conducted in January, 1997  that estimated that there were 50.3 million adults on the Internet in the United States. The numbers continue to grow. The average Internet user is affluent, educated, and well-informed. In a survey conducted by Georgia Tech in the fall and winter of 1998, the modal household income for US Internet users was between 50 and 74 thousand dollars, and more than four fifths of the respondents were over the age of 25. More than four-fifths of the respondents had attended college, and more than half had a bachelor's degree or higher. More than half of Internet users now use the web for shopping. In short, Internet users are the people you want to know about your business.
